Globe Map Widget

Written by Rachel Ann Pangilinan

The Globe map widget displays an animated world map showing the countries your testimonials have come from. Each submission is represented by a coarse, country-level icon (heart, star, or pin) — no personal or precise location data is shown.

This widget is available on paid plans.

Where to find it

  1. From the left sidebar, click Embed widgets.

  2. Under Display testimonials, select Globe map.

Sample data vs. your data

At the top of the Globe map panel, there's a toggle between Your data and Sample data.

  • Sample data shows example hearts across various countries, so you can preview how the widget will look.

  • Your data shows hearts based on the actual countries your testimonials have come from.

If you haven't received any testimonials yet, the widget will automatically display sample data. A note below the map will indicate when sample data is being shown: "Sample hearts show how the map will look. Your embed uses sample data until you receive testimonials.".

Customization options

Heading

Toggle on to display a heading above the map. Default text: Loved around the world. You can edit this to any custom text.

Description

Toggle on to display a description below the heading. If left blank or toggled off, this defaults to a count of countries (e.g., "Customers' love collected from 18 countries").

Icon style

Choose how submissions are represented on the map:

  • Heart (default)

  • Star

  • Pin

Time window

Select the date range of testimonials to include on the map. Default is all-time. You can also choose the last 7, 30, or 90 days.

Max hearts

Set the maximum number of icons that can display on the map at once. You can choose from 50, 100, 150, 200, and 300

Colors

Customize the map's appearance to match your site:

  • Background – the color behind the map

  • Land – the color of landmasses

  • Borders – the color of country borders

Embedding the widget

Once you've configured the widget's settings, copy the embed code provided at the bottom of the panel and paste it into your site's HTML where you want the map to appear.

Click Copy code to copy both parts to your clipboard, then paste them into your site.

Notes

  • Only country-level location data is used — no personal information about submitters is displayed.

  • Changes to the heading, description, icon style, time window, max hearts, and colors are automatically reflected in the copied embed code.
