Transferring a Space

Want to transfer a space to a different account? Here's how:

Transferring a space from one account to another is now possible with Testimonial. to.

Currently available for our Ultimate and above plans, here is our guide on how to transfer space to another account, along with limitations and additional information you may need. 


Steps

Current owner/sender

  1. Access the space you want to transfer.

  2. Choose "Transfer space to another account" from the Space Settings dropdown menu.

  3. A pop-up modal will appear where you can enter the recipient's email address for the space. The email will be sent only once; kindly ensure the recipient's email address is correct.

  4. Once sure, hit the "Transfer Space" button to process the request. 

    🗒️ An acceptance email will be sent to the recipient and is valid for seven days.

Recipient

      If you are currently a member of any space or account with Testimonial.to, please note that you will need to be unlinked on the said account and use your dashboard for the transfer to process smoothly.

  1. Check for an email from [email protected] with the subject title "Space Transfer Request from customer name."

  2. From there, choose whether to accept or reject the transfer request.

    • Once the transfer is accepted, the space will be removed from the current owner and moved to your account.

    • A rejection email will be sent to the owner if the request is rejected.

  3. You may now access the space on your dashboard. Also, please note that only space-related stuff, like space, tags, and testimonials, will be transferred.


Additional Information

I accepted the transfer, but the space is still not showing on my dashboard

  • Once the space is transferred, kindly note that your account, as a recipient, needs to be unlinked as an account/space-level team member for the space to show up on your dashboard.

  • If you are not a member of any other account and the space still isn’t showing, please send us a message with a screenshot of the email you received, and we will help you further.
