Multi-Clip Video Recording

Learn how to use the new Multi-Clip Recording feature to let respondents record multiple short videos for each question, automatically stitched into one seamless submission.

We’re excited to introduce Multi-Clip Recording, now available for the Ultimate plan.

This feature lets submitters record multiple short clips—one per question—and automatically combines them into a single polished video.

What is Multi-Clip Recording

Instead of recording one long video, users can now record separate clips for each question. Each clip can be up to 60 seconds long, and the system will automatically stitch all clips together (with a title screen) once the submission is complete.

This provides:

  • A smoother experience for respondents

  • Easier re-recording of specific answers

  • A longer total recording time than single-video mode

Flow of the video testimonials

  1. Your client or customer will see each question one at a time.

  2. They can record (or re-record) a short clip for each question (up to 60s).

  3. When all clips are done, the system automatically merges them into a single seamless video.

How to Set It Up

  1. You can go to Edit Space for your project.

  2. Open the new “Prompts” tab.

  3. Enable the "Let customers record multiple short videos" option.

  4. Customize your setup, including fonts, colors, and transition effects.

  5. Save your settings.

You can fully personalize how questions appear before each response clip.

Set two background colors for a gradient effect

Transition Effect

Choose how clips transition between questions — or set it to Random for variety

💡 Tip: You can preview different transition styles at gl-transitions.com/gallery.

Note on Processing Time

Video testimonials created using Multi-Clip Recording may take longer than usual to appear in your Space, as the upload and stitching process is more complex than standard single-video submissions. Processing times can vary depending on clip length and upload speed.
