Collecting Buttons lets you add small, compact "Text" and/or "Video" buttons anywhere on your website. When a visitor clicks one, your testimonial collection form opens in a pop-up — no large embed taking up space on your page.
This is a great option if you want to ask for feedback from a link, a small widget on the corner of a page, or a call-to-action button, without dedicating a whole section of your site to a collection form.
How do I set it up?
Head to your space's dashboard. In the left sidebar, click Embed widgets.
Under Collect Feedback, select Collecting buttons.
Use the Live preview at the top of the page to see how your buttons will look as you customize them.
Configure your buttons:
Buttons — choose whether to show Text & Video, just Text, or just Video.
Layout — arrange your buttons in a row or a column.
Text button label / Video button label — customize the text shown on each button (e.g., "Send in text," "Record a video").
Video button color, Text button color, and Font color — set the colors to match your site.
Size — choose the button size.
Corner radius — adjust how rounded the buttons are.
Popup theme — choose light or dark for the popup that opens when a button is clicked.
Form — optionally select a specific form (available on the Ultimate plan) instead of using the default collection page.
Once you're happy with the setup, copy the embed code shown at the bottom of the page.
How do I embed?
Paste the copied code into your website, wherever you'd like the buttons to appear. The embed code includes a <script> tag and a <div> containing your button(s) — for example:
Because this embed uses the same Collecting Widget Manager as the standard collecting widget, any changes you make to styling or setup later will automatically apply — you won't need to update your embed code again.
Wiring the popup to your own element
Already have your own button or link designed? You don't have to use our button styling at all. Click "wire the popup to your own element" on the Collecting buttons page for a snippet you can attach to any existing HTML element on your site, so clicking it opens the same collection popup.

Yes — if you're on the Ultimate plan, you can select a form you've created in the Form dropdown instead of using the default collection page.
Can I have both a Text and a Video button?

Does this use the same settings as my Collecting Widget?
