Collecting Buttons add compact Text and Video buttons to your site. A click opens your collection form in a popup, so you do not need a large embed on the page.
Use this when you want a link, a small widget, or a call-to-action—without dedicating a full section to the form.
Set up Collecting Buttons
Open the Space. In the left sidebar, click Embed widgets.
Under Collect Feedback, select Collecting buttons.
Use Live preview at the top to see the buttons as you edit them.
Configure the buttons:
Buttons — Text & Video, Text only, or Video only.
Layout — row or column.
Text button label / Video button label — the text on each button (for example, "Send in text" or "Record a video").
Video button color, Text button color, and Font color.
Size.
Corner radius.
Popup theme — light or dark.
Form — optionally select a specific form (Ultimate and Ultimate+) instead of the default collection page.
Copy the embed code at the bottom of the page.
Embed the buttons
Paste the code where you want the buttons to appear. It includes a <script> tag and a <div> for the button or buttons.
This embed uses the same Collecting Widget Manager as the collecting widget. Later styling or setup changes apply automatically. You do not need to replace the embed code.
Wire the popup to your own element
If you already have a button or link, you do not have to use our button styles. On the Collecting buttons page, click wire the popup to your own element for a snippet you can attach to any existing HTML element. A click opens the same collection popup.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use my own form?
Yes. On Ultimate and Ultimate+, select a form you have created in the Form dropdown instead of the default collection page.
Can I have both a Text and a Video button?
Yes. Set Buttons to Text & Video, then choose a row or column under Layout.
Does this use the same settings as my Collecting Widget?
Yes. Collecting buttons open the collection experience configured in your Collecting Widget Manager, so messaging, questions, and star-rating settings stay consistent.
