NPS Survey: What respondents see

See what your recipients see when they click on your link

Written by Rachel Ann Pangilinan

When a recipient clicks the survey link (from an email or an embed), they go through two screens:

Screen 1 — Identification

Email link only or embed without pre-fill. Respondents enter their name and email so their responses can be attributed. The screen explains that they'll be given a single 0–10 score, plus an optional comment.

If you pre-fill the embed using &email= and &name= parameters, this screen is skipped entirely.

Screen 2 — The survey

Respondents see the 0–10 score buttons labeled "Not at all likely" to "Extremely likely", followed by the optional follow-up text field if enabled. They click Submit to complete the survey.

Screen 3 — Thank you page

The whole experience takes under 30 seconds.
