The management view
After creating a case study, click it from the case studies list to open its management view. At the top right, you'll find two buttons available at all times:
Preview — opens a live preview of your survey exactly as respondents will see it
Copy share link — copies the direct survey URL so you can share it manually via email, Slack, or anywhere else
Four tabs give you full control over the case study.
Analytics tab
Shows real-time performance data once responses begin arriving. Four headline metrics appear at the top.
Per-question response rate
A bar chart showing the percentage of submissions that answered each question, plus the average answer length per question. Use this to identify questions being skipped or taking unusually long to answer — both are signals to rewrite or simplify.
Status breakdown
A donut chart showing counts and percentages across the three states.
Answer format
Shows the split between voice and text answers, as well as the average answer length in words across all submissions.
Invitation funnel
Shows the for invited, click the link, incomplete answer ( In Progress), and submitted.
Until responses arrive, the Analytics tab shows: "No data yet. Once recipients start responding, analytics will appear here."
Submissions
Shows every individual submission. Use the filter tabs at the top to view by status:
Click a submission to open the full transcript — every question and its answer, with voice answers shown as transcribed text alongside the original recording.
💡Testimonial opt-in responses appear in your Space inbox automatically — linked to this case study, so you always know which customer story they came from.
Recipients tab
Manage who receives the case study invitation email. Two ways to add recipients:
+ Add recipient — manually add by name and email. The invitation email is sent immediately after adding.
Import from testimonials — pull in contacts from customers who've already submitted a testimonial in this Space. A warm, already-engaged audience — and often the best candidates for a case study.
Each recipient card shows their current status — Invited, In progress, or Submitted — and a View response link once they've submitted. You can also remove a recipient using the trash icon.
Importing from testimonials is the fastest way to build your first recipient list. Customers who've already submitted a testimonial have a positive relationship with your product and are significantly more likely to complete a case study.
Settings tab
Edit every aspect of your case study after it's been created — the same fields as the creation form:
Name
Questions — edit, reorder, or add new questions
Layout — switch between one-at-a-time and all-on-one-page
Testimonial collection — toggle and edit the request message
Invitation email — update subject, body, and CTA button color
Reminders — enable or disable automatic follow-ups
Click Save to apply changes. Updates to email templates will also apply to the email that has been sent.
