Require Email Verification for Submitters

Protect your testimonials from spam by enabling email verification and OTP authentication for all submitters.

Want to reduce spam and ensure testimonials come from genuine customers? You can now require submitters to verify their email before submitting.

Notes

  • Only applies to new submissions.

  • Verification is automatic — no extra steps needed from your team.


How It Works for Submitters

  1. When a submitter fills out a testimonial, a “Verify Email” button will appear.

  2. Clicking it will send a one-time password (OTP) to their email.

  3. They enter the OTP to authenticate their email.

  4. Once verified, they can submit the testimonial.

This ensures that all submissions originate from genuine, verified email addresses.


How to Enable

  1. Go to Edit Space.

  2. Click the Extra Settings tab.

  3. Toggle “Verify submitter email address”

  4. Save your settings.

    Done! New submitters will now follow the OTP verification process.
