Require submitters to verify their email with a one-time password before they can send a testimonial. This applies to new submissions only. Verification is automatic for your team.
What the submitter sees
They write first, verify their email, then submit. The code is sent after they click Verify Email, not after they submit.
They write the testimonial. A Verify Email button appears. Nothing is submitted yet.
They click Verify Email and receive a one-time password (OTP) by email.
They enter the OTP to confirm the address. Keep the tab open while they check their inbox so the text they wrote is not lost.
After the email is verified, they submit the testimonial.
If you add a note on the collection page or in your request, use wording like this:
“After you write your testimonial, click Verify Email and enter the code sent to your inbox. Then submit.”
Turn it on
Open Space settings and select Edit Space.
Click Extra Settings.
Turn on Verify submitter email address.
Save.
