iPhone does not support high-resolution live recording. Turn off live recording on iPhone so people upload an existing video instead. That often gives better quality and fewer orientation issues.
This setting does not affect PC, laptop, or Android.
Turn off iPhone recording
On the dashboard, click the 3-dot icon on the Space card and select Edit the space.
In the space editor, click Extra Settings.
Turn on Disable video recording for iPhone users.
Click Update to save.
Video orientation after upload
A video uploaded in landscape stays in landscape. It does not convert to portrait.
To rotate or crop, use a video editor such as iMovie or Adobe Premiere Pro, then upload the edited file.
Note: Tell contributors to record ahead of time if you need a specific orientation, such as portrait for ads.
