Written by Damon Chen

Import LinkedIn posts, comments, and recommendations into a Space. Use a post URL, the browser extension, or Brand Monitor on Ultimate and Ultimate+.

Import a post from a URL

  1. On LinkedIn, click the three dots on the post and copy the link.

  2. Open the Space. Under Integrations, choose Social Media, then LinkedIn.

  3. Paste the link. Check Add to My Wall of Love if you want it on the wall.

  4. Click Add.

Import a recommendation with the extension

  1. Sign in with Google or email and password.

  2. Open the recommendations section on LinkedIn. Highlight the text.

  3. Right-click, hover Testimonial, and select Save Text.

  4. The modal fills in the person’s name, profile picture, and title. Check those fields. If a field is wrong or empty, edit it.

  5. Choose the Space. Check whether to add it to your Wall of Love. Click Add.

Walkthrough:

Import a post or comment with Add testimonial

Note: The Add testimonial button is currently available in Ubuntu.

  1. Install the Testimonial browser extension and sign in.

  2. On a LinkedIn post, click the three dots and choose the Testimonial option.

  3. On a LinkedIn comment, click the three dots and choose the Testimonial option.

  4. The modal fills in the person’s name, profile picture, and title. Check those fields.

Note: LinkedIn changes its HTML often, so names and photos may not fill in automatically. You can still pick the name and photo with the manual selector.

Choose the Space, decide whether to add it to your Wall of Love, and click Add.

Track LinkedIn mentions automatically

On Ultimate and Ultimate+, Brand Monitor can watch for mentions and turn them into testimonials. Open Brand Monitor from Integrations and complete Settings.

Edit imported testimonials

You can edit posts, comments, and recommendations during import in the extension. After import, edit them in Inbox or Import, depending on how they were added.

  • Bulk imports appear in Inbox.

  • Single posts, comments, or recommendations appear under the Import tab.
