Our guide for editing text testimonials is divided into three parts: steps on how you can access the editor modal, the additional fields you can edit, and the additional information you may need.
Steps
Click the text content or the ⌄ icon at the bottom-left to expand the testimonial card.
Once the card expands, you will see a list of icons at the bottom, and you will find the Edit icon. Just click it.
You will see a popup modal. You can update all these items:
Submitter's name
Testimonial
Submitter's avatar
Title and company
Company link
Company logo
Submitter's social link
Read more link
Date
Additional Fields and Features
Highlight text
You can now add some highlights to text testimonials, just like 👇
All you need to do is bold the text you want to highlight in the edit window.
Add company logo
When you add a company logo to a text testimonial, it will be displayed like this:
Add the Read More button
If you want to redirect the testimonial to an external page, say a full version of your customer's case study, you can add the external link in the Read More link field. Once you update the testimonial, the read more button will look like this:
Title & Company ( New Field)
You can now show the additional fields you have collected from your clients in the form of a title on your testimonial card. Choose the field you want to show by typing "{" under the Title & Company field.

Can I add a picture that was submitted already?
If the text testimonial doesn't have an image attached when submitted, the attachment option will not show. The customer will need to resubmit the testimonials with the image you wanted to add.
If the testimonial you want to modify already has a picture/image attached, you can change or add up to five (5) images to the said testimonial.
Can I remove the star ratings?
Once the testimonial has been submitted with a star rating, it can't be removed. You will need to turn off the star rating first and re-add the said testimonial to your account manually.
Can I remove the avatar that has been uploaded?
Yes, you can! Following the steps mentioned above, just click on the "X" icon under the update avatar option to delete the avatar, then save the changes.
