By default, once a testimonial is submitted without an avatar or headshot from your user, we will use a lettered avatar based on their name.
Alternatively, you may change the default avatar set up in your space.
Our guide here is divided into two parts: steps on changing the avatar for an existing testimonial, and additional information you may need.
Instructions
Here's how you can now change the current avatar on your text testimonial.
Once in your space, click the text content or the ⌄ icon at the bottom-left to expand the testimonial card.
Once the card expands, you will see a list of icons at the bottom, and you will find the Edit icon. Just click it.
You will see the following pop-up modal. Scroll to 'Update avatar', upload the avatar you want, and then click the 'Update the testimonial' button to save the changes.

Additional Information
Removing the avatar
It is possible to remove or delete the avatar your customer has submitted. Just follow the same steps mentioned above and click on the "X" icon.
After deleting the avatar, the testimonial will have the default avatar you set up for the space.
