Connect Zapier from Automation with your Space API key. The Zapier app has 1 trigger and 2 actions.

Note: You need the Ultimate or Ultimate+ plan for an API key to use the Zapier app.

What is in the integration

The Zapier integration includes 1 trigger and 2 actions.

Trigger

1. New testimonial — fires when a new testimonial is received.

Example: send yourself a Slack direct message every time a new testimonial arrives. The trigger is the new testimonial.

Actions

1. Send an email asking for a testimonial.

Example: after a customer leaves a 5-star Trustpilot review, send them an email asking for a testimonial. The action is the email.

2. Submit a video from an external source.

Example: when you receive a new VideoAsk video, submit it to your Testimonial Space. You can add it to the Wall of Love at the same time.

Other ideas:

  1. Share a new testimonial to social networks.

  2. If you run an online store, send a testimonial request email 2 weeks after purchase.

  3. If you collect testimonials for clients, email them when a new testimonial is submitted.

  4. Add VideoAsk responses to your Wall of Love.

  5. Save the video testimonial to Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar.

Get started

  1. Open the Space. In the left sidebar, under Automation, click Zapier.

    Automation tab row (Email Assistant, Zapier, Webhook, HubSpot, Slack, APIs)

  2. At the bottom of the page, copy your API key. You will use it when you create a Zap with the Testimonial integration.

  3. Click CREATE ZAPIER INTEGRATION.

  4. If you already have a Zapier account and are signed in, click Accept Invite & Build a Zap.

  5. Click Create Zap.

  6. Search for Testimonial in the trigger box.

  7. Click Testimonial and select New Testimonial as the trigger event.

  8. Click Continue, then open Choose an account and click Connect a new account.

  9. In the new tab, paste your API key and click Yes, Continue.

  10. Choose the testimonial type to listen to:

    • All — video and text testimonials

    • Video — video testimonials only

    • Text — text testimonials only

  11. Click Continue. Then add actions that run when a new testimonial is created.
