Your dedicated landing page will collect two additional pieces of information beyond your customers' testimonials: their names and email addresses.
You also have the option to collect more information from your customers/clients if needed and add up to five (5) custom fields. These additional details will only be visible on the back-end, to you, and not on your Wall of Love.
This guide is divided into two parts: steps for setting it up and additional information you may need.
Steps
Open the space you want to collect more information in, then click 'Edit space'at the top right corner.
You will then be routed to the space editor.
Scroll to 'Collect extra information' and select the fields you would like to collect.
By default, the name and email will be collected. However, you can collect more information if needed. You can add five more custom fields as well. Toggle on the information you want to collect or create. Finally, set them to be required or not.
You may also modify the existing testimonials you have, in case you have a new field you are collecting from your customers.
Once finished, click the "Update" button to save your changes, and voila ✌️
Additional information
Can I not collect the email address?
We understand that some clients may not want to submit their email addresses when submitting a testimonial. With our recent update, you can now collect your customer's name and testimonial. Following the steps above, turn off the email option.
Disabling email will give you the option to avoid collecting your client's email addresses.
Unticking the "required" option will allow your clients to submit their email address or not.
I have updated the information I want to collect. What about the testimonials I have already collected?
Changing or adding information will only update the new testimonials you collect. You can add additional information after you have edited the testimonials.
Can I show the additional information I have collected on my wall?
Yes, you can! You may choose to display the additional field/information you collected from your customer as a title. More information on what you can edit in your text testimonial can be found here.
